Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste (Serie A) has signed 32-year-old Mexican-American ex-international 198cm forward Juan Toscano-Anderson (college: Marquette) for the new season. He last played for Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 42 NBA-G-League games, he averaged an impressive 16.1ppg, 7.4rpg, 3.7apg, and 1.7spg last season. He also played for United in the NBA G League.
Toscano-Anderson represented Mexico at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers two years ago. Toscano-Anderson's team won Silver and he averaged nearly 10 ppg.
He is a very experienced player. Toscano-Anderson has played professionally in Argentina (Obras), Mexico (Fuerza Regia and Soles), Venezuela (Bucaneros), NBA (GS Warriors, LA Lakers and Sacramento Kings), and NBA Summer League (GS Warriors).
In addition to his college awards, he was voted to the Latinbasket.com All-Mexican LNBP All-Domestic Players Team in 2018. His college team made it to the FIBA International Cup final in 2024.
Toscano-Anderson graduated from Marquette University in 2015 and it'll be his 11th season in pro basketball.
