MVM-Oroszlanyi Sportegylet E Lions (A Division) signed 29-year-old American 195cm guard Gage Davis-McMurrin (college: St. Cloud State) for the upcoming season. He was the top rebounder at Ostioneros de Guaymas in the Mexican CIBACOPA, averaging 14.1ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.7apg, and 1.5spg in 15 games he recently played. Last season, he played for BC Nokia (Korisliiga) in the Finnish league and also for VEF Riga (LBL) in the Latvian league.
Davis-McMurrin is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Denmark (Horsens IC), Finland, Germany, Italy (Pistoia and RO Eurobasket), Latvia, and The Basketball Tournament (D2 Waymakers). Davis-McMurrin won the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League championship title in 2025.
He received the Eurobasket.com All-Danish BasketLigaen Player of the Year award and the Eurobasket.com All-Danish BasketLigaen Import Player of the Year award in 2024.
He graduated from St. Cloud State in 2019 and it'll be his seventh season in pro basketball.
