Penang Sunrise Youngsters (MBL) signed 30-year old American small forward Zoran Talley (198cm-86kg-1994, college: Iowa State) for upcoming 2024-25 season. He was the top scorer at Goes in Uruguayan Metropolitan last season where in 18 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 20.6ppg, 7.3rpg and 3.3apg. He helped them to win the Metropolitan League title. 2024-24 was a great season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay Metropolitan League Finals MVP, named to All-Imports Team and named to All-Domestic Players Team. Talley also played for Amartha Hangtuah Jakarta (IBL) in Indonesian league.
He is quite experienced player. Talley has played in seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Bosnia (OKK Sloboda Tuzla), Hungary (Ujpest MT), Indonesia (Dewa United), Luxembourg (Mess), Slovenia and Cape Verde (CB Cidadela).
Talley is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
He graduated from Iowa State in 2019 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player. Talley played also for Old Dominion University for 3 years.
