T71 Dudelange (LBBL) has signed 26-year-old Luxembourg international Ivan Delgado, a 193cm point guard, for the upcoming season. Delgado, who most recently played for Sporting Clube de Braga in the Portuguese Proliga, averaged 7.2ppg, 2.9rpg, 2.8apg, and 1.2spg in 9 games last season. He was instrumental in helping his team win the regular season and reach the semifinals. Delgado's performance earned him a spot on the Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese Proliga All-Bosmans Team. He also had stints with Minyor 2015 Pernik (NBL) in the Bulgarian league and QSTA United (DBL) in the Dutch league during the pre-season.
Delgado has been a member of the Luxembourg international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Luxembourg senior team since 2019 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2018.
Delgado also represented Luxembourg at the Games of the Small States of Europe in Malta two years ago. His team won Gold and he had 2 ppg.
He is a very experienced player. Delgado has played also in Bulgaria, Germany (Kangaroos and Ehingen/Urspringschule), Holland, Iceland (Sindri) and Luxembourg (Etzella).
He won the Luxembourg League championship title in 2019.
