Ben Kovac

ALM Evreux Basket (ProB) signed 25-year old Luxembourg international forward Ben Kovac (196cm-2000) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He played last season at Besancon Avenir Comtois Basket in the NM1. In 35 games, he had very impressive stats: 15.6ppg, 5.4rpg, 3.1apg, and 1.1spg. He was also named League Player of the Week. The previous (2023-24) season, he played at Patrioti Levice (Nike SBL) in the Slovakian league. The team played in three different competitions that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. Kovac also played 43 games in the Slovakian Tipos SBL, where he recorded 9.0ppg, 4.1rpg, and 2.0apg that year. He helped them win the Slovakian League title. In 2023-24, he was named to Eurobasket.com Slovakian Nike SBL All-Domestic Players Team. Kovac also played 6 games in the FIBA Europe Cup, where he averaged 9.3
He has been a member of the Luxembourg international program for some years. Kovac has regularly played for the Luxembourg senior team since 2017 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2019.
He also represented Luxembourg at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Pre-Qualifiers four years ago. During this event he scored an average of 9.5 ppg and had 3.4 rpg.
Kovac has also played in Holland (Den Helder), Slovakia, and Luxembourg (Esch and CFBB Luxembourg U16 team).
He received Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League Honorable Mention in 2023.
