Coach Sarunas Zablockis takes over at Omega-Tauras

Omega-Tauras Kauno (NKL) will be led by 41-year-old coach Sarunas Zablockis for the 2026-27 season. He has coached for the last three years at Vilkaviskio Perlas.
Three years ago, he coached Lithuania at the FIBA U20 European Championship in Greece.
Zablockis, who has coached, has spent his entire career in Lithuania playing for three other teams: Tornado, Taurages, and Tornado KM Kaunas U18 team. His team made it to the NKL Semifinals in 2026.
