University of Arizona signed 22-year old Lithuanian forward Ugnius Jarusevicius (6'11''-220lbs) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. The Alytus native moved there from University of Nebraska, where he spent his junior year. In only one game last season, he recorded 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Jarusevicius' team ended the regular season as the second-best team in the Big Ten in 2026. He helped his team make it to the NCAA Sweet 16.
He played also at Zalgiris Kaunas U16 team between 2018-19, Zalgiris Kaunas U20 team during 2018-19, Zalgiris Kaunas U17 team during 2019-20, Zalgiris Kaunas U18 team during 2020-22, Zalgiris Kaunas 2nd team during 2020-22, Kedainiu Nevezis-Optibet during 2020-22, California State University Bakersfield during 2022-24 and then at Central Michigan University for one season. Jarusevicius' team ended regular season as a second best place in EYBL U16 Division 1 in 2019. Jarusevicius helped his team make it to the EYBL U16 Division 1 Finals that year. His team played in the Adidas Next Generation Tournament in Kaunas Finals in 2020. His team won Lithuanian U18 League Regular Season Championship in 2021. He helped his team make it to the Adidas Next Generation Tournament in Istanbul Semifinals and Lithuanian U18 League Finals that year. Jarusevicius was named to All-MAC First Team in 2025.
