BC Rytas Vilnius (LKL) confirmed in their roster 28-year old international power forward Gytis Masiulis (206cm-99kg-1998). He has played there for the last four seasons. He helped them to make it to the cup final. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. Masiulis played 14 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 9.9ppg and 4.8rpg last season.
He has also been a member of the Lithuanian international program for some years. Masiulis has regularly played for the Lithuanian senior team since 2017 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2018.
He also represented Lithuania at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers three years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 3.9 points per game and had 1.6 rebounds per game.
Masiulis is a quite experienced player. He has played also in Germany (Skyliners), Italy, and Spain (Surne Bilbao) and Lithuania (Zalgiris, Lietkabelis, Neptunas, and Zalgiris Kaunas 2nd team).
Masiulis' team won the Lithuanian Cup in 2018. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Honorable Mention in 2021.
