Brandon Horvath (ex Gargzdu) agreed terms with Blue Wings

Nitra Blue Wings (Tipos SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old American 208cm power forward Brandon Horvath (college: Utah State). He started the season at Gargzdu in Lithuanian LKL league. In 14 games he recorded 6.1ppg and 2.9rpg. The last season season he played at Bamberg (BBL) in German league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. He also played 31 games in German BBL where he averaged 5.9ppg and 4.5rpg. Horvath helped them to make it to the cup final. He also played 9 games in European North Basketball League where he had 5.8ppg and 4.8rpg. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week.
Horvath is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Belgium (Circus Brussels), France (Saint Quentin) and Germany.
Horvath won French ProB championship title in 2023.
He graduated from Utah State in 2022 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball. Horvath played also for University of Maryland - Baltimore County for 4 years.
