BC Rytas Vilnius (LKL) signed 32-year-old USA international 191cm point guard Kenneth Smith (college: La Tech). It is his return to Vilnius as he previously played there. He began the season with Merkezefendi in the Turkish BSL league, averaging 7.4ppg, 2.1rpg, and 4.0apg in 12 games. Last season, he played for Turk Telekom in the BSL, posting 5.1ppg, 1.7rpg, and 3.6apg in 27 games. He also had a brief stint with Hapoel Jerusalem in the Israeli league. Smith has been a regular member of the USA Senior National Team since 2025.
He is a very experienced player. Smith has played professionally in Belgium (Antwerp Giants and Spirou Charleroi), France (Limoges CSP Elite), Hungary (Szolnok), Israel (Maccabi Haifa), Latvia (VEF Riga), Russia (BC Pari Nizhny Novgorod), NBA G League (Grand Rapids Gold) and NBA Summer League (NY Knicks).
He played in the final of Basketball Champions League in 2023, among many awards. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Honorable Mention back in 2022.
Smith graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2015 and it's his 11th season in pro basketball.
