Jarvis Williams (ex Slask) joins Al Riyadi

Defending champion Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (DLBL) has agreed terms with 33-year-old American power forward Jarvis Williams (203cm-97kg-1993, college: Murray State). He is the second foreign player in the roster, with U.S. Virgin Islands Marcus Georges-Hunt signing earlier. Williams moved to Beirut from Slask in the Polish OBL league, where he played this season. In 17 games, he averaged 6.6ppg and 4.8rpg. He also previously played for SSD Real Sebastiani Rieti in the Italian Serie A league.
He is a seasoned player. Williams' career took him to three continents, playing in eight countries. He experienced pro basketball life in Europe, Asia, and North America. He played in France (Calvados and Boulazac Basket), Holland (ZZ Leiden), Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva), Italy (Trapani, Cremona, and Bergamo), Lithuania (Rytas), Poland (HydroTruck), Turkey (Tofas), and Lebanon (Hoops).
Williams' team reached the Italian Serie A2 final in 2025, among many awards. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from Murray State in 2015 and is currently in his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player. Williams also played for Gordon State College for 2 years.
