Coach Jad El Hajj (ex Beirut Club) joins Ahli of Aleppo

Jad El Hajj

Al Ittihad Ahli of Aleppo (SBL) agreed terms with 37-year-old Lebanese coach Jad El Hajj. He coached last season at Beirut Club in the Lebanese league.
He coached the Lebanese Senior National Team between 2022 and 2024 and the Under 16 National Team back in 2019.

El Hajj coached Lebanon at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in San Juan (Puerto Rico) two years ago.

He has coached previously in Bahrain (Al-Ahli) and Lebanon (Sagesse, Dynamo, and Hoops). El Hajj played in the final of the Bahrain League in 2025.
Among many awards, he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Coach of the Year in 2023.
