KB Bora Prishtina (Superliga) agreed terms with 20-year old international shooting guard Jon Ismajli (195cm-80kg-2005) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. It is actually his comeback to Prishtina as he has played here before. He will still stay in Kosovo where he played last season at Sigal Prishtina in the Kosovan Superliga. In 11 games, he had 3.7ppg, 1.8rpg, and 1.3apg. He helped them make it to the Kosovo Cup Semifinals. Ismajli also played 1 game in the European North Basketball League where he recorded 3 points, 1 assist, and 1 block. The other team he played briefly for was Vellaznimi Gjakove.
He has also been a member of the Kosovan international program for some years. Ismajli has regularly played for the Kosovan senior team since 2024 and for the U22 National Team during the last year.
He represented Kosovo at the FIBA U18 European Championship Division B in Matosinhos (Portugal) three years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 17.4 points per game and had 6.1 rebounds per game.
Ismajli has played previously in Czech Republic with GBA Lions Jindrichuv Hradec and Hradec.
Despite his young age, he had an impressive career. He played in the final of Liga Unike in 2025. Ismajli was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Best Prospect of the Year in 2025.
