Deondre Burns

Keravnos Strovolou (ECOMMBX BL) signed 29-year-old American 191cm guard Deondre Burns (college: ORU). He returns to Nicosia, where he previously played. Burns began the season with Sigal Prishtina in the Kosovan Superliga. In 21 games, he averaged 18.0ppg, 3.3rpg, and 3.8apg, earning two League Player of the Week honors. He also competed in 8 games in the European North Basketball League, posting impressive stats: 23.3ppg, 4.6rpg, 4.0apg, and 1.5spg. Last season, he played for Le Portel (Betclic ELITE ProA) in the French league.
He is a very experienced player. Burns has also played professionally in France, Germany (BG Goettingen), Israel (Hapoel Holon), Switzerland (Starwings), and MBL (Metroplex L.).
Among many awards, his team won the Cypriot League Regular Season in 2023. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-FIBA Europe Cup Honorable Mention back in 2023.
Burns graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2020 and is currently in his sixth season in pro basketball. He also played for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for 4 years.
