KB Peja (Superliga) strengthened their roster with the addition of 30-year-old American forward Cecil Williams (198cm-95kg-1995, college: CMU). He just played at Pioneros de Los Mochis in the Mexican CIBACOPA. In three games just recently, he recorded 10.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.7apg, and 1.3spg this season.
He is quite an experienced player. Thanks to Williams' pro career, he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America, and North America) in seven different countries. Williams has played professionally in France (Entente Orleans 45 and Sorgues), Greece (PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki and Apollon Patras), Mexico (Fuerza Regia and Diablos), Poland (Zastal), Portugal (Galitos-Barreiro), Romania (Dinamo Bucuresti), and Turkey (Tofas and Manisa).
Among many awards, his team won the Polish Supercup in 2021. He was also voted the Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Import Player of the Year back in 2020.
Williams graduated from Central Michigan University in 2018 and is currently in his eighth season as a professional player. He also played for Moberly Area Community College for 2 years.
