AEK Larnaca inks T.J. Bickerstaff, ex Bashkimi

Defending champion Petrolina AEK Larnaca (ECOMMBX BL) agreed terms with 24-year old American forward T.J. Bickerstaff (206cm-100kg-2002, college: JMU). He started the season at Bashkimi in Kosovan Superliga. In 18 games he had 9.3ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.3apg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times). He also played 8 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded 9.0ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.4apg. Last season summer he played at Pistons in U.S. semi-pro league NBA Summer League.
Bickerstaff has played previously for Cypriot team TRIA EKA AEL Limassol.
Among many awards, his team made it to the Cypriot League Semifinals in 2025. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Cypriot League All-Imports Team in 2025.
Bickerstaff graduated from James Madison University in 2024 and is in his second season as a professional player. He played for other colleges such as Boston College and Drexel University.
