Viktor Sanikidze Academy (Superleague) bolstered their team by signing 25-year-old American 208cm center Tyson Jackson (college: New Orleans, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance). Jackson began the season with Bora in the Kosovan Superliga, averaging 8.8ppg, 4.3rpg, and 1.2apg in 6 games. He also played 1 game in Liga Unike, contributing 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist.
Part of last season he spent at Tkibuli Orbi. The other team he played shortly was OKK Novi Pazar (KLS) in the Serbian league.
Between 2022 and 2025, Jackson's team was the regular season runner-up in the Southland Conference. Jackson was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Georgian Superleague Honorable Mention in 2025.
He graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2024 and is currently in his second season in pro basketball. Jackson also played for Middle Tennessee State University for 2 years.
