Otef Darom BC (National League) signed experienced 37-year old double-passport holder American power forward Storm Warren (211cm-104kg-1988, college: LSU). He played most recently at H.Jerusalem (Winner League). In two games he had 4.0ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.0spg during the 2023-24 year. National League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. His team made it to the Israeli Premier League Semifinals in 2024.
During the summer of 2023, he played for Metros de Santiago in the Dominican Republic league.
He is a very experienced player. Warren has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America, and North America). He has played professionally in Argentina (Olimpico), Finland (Namika Lahti), France (Nantes), Holland (Den Warrenlder), Uruguay (Bigua), USA, and Israel (Maccabi Rehovot, Hapoel Ramat Gan Givataim, Bnei Hertzeliya, Ashkelon, and Maccabi Hod Hasharon).
Among many awards, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Player of the Year back in 2017. He is close to retirement age as a player, and it's very possible he may end his playing career at Otef Darom.
He graduated from Louisiana State University in 2012 and it will be his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player. His team made it to the Israeli Premier League Semifinals in 2024.
