Newly promoted Longevida San Pablo Burgos (Liga Endesa) signed 28-year-old Israeli-American 191cm point guard Max Heidegger (college: UCSB). He began the season at Bnei Hertzeliya in the Israeli Winner League. In 17 games, he averaged an impressive 15.2ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.1apg, and 1.1spg, helping them reach the cup final. Heidegger also played 6 games in the Basketball Champions League, where he posted 9.0ppg, 2.0rpg, and 4.2apg. He was part of the Israeli Senior National Team in 2022.
Heidegger is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Germany (EWE Baskets), Italy (Umana Venezia), Turkey (Turk Telekom and Merkezefendi), Spain (Baskonia), NBA Summer League (Atlanta Hawks), NBA G League (Windy City Bulls), and The Basketball Tournament (Eberlein Drive).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-German Bundesliga Honorable Mention back in 2022.
Heidegger graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2020 and is currently in his sixth season in professional basketball.
