Maccabi Ashdod (National League) added 31-year-old American power forward
Jimmy Hall (203cm-107kg-1994, college:
Kent State) to their roster. He was the top scorer at
M.Raanana last season, averaging 14.3ppg, 6.9rpg, 2.8apg, and 1.0spg in 23 National League games in Israel. Hall helped M.Raanana reach the Israeli National League State Cup Semifinals and was named League Player of the Week twice, as well as voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Third Team. In the previous (2023-24) season, he played for
KB Peja (Superliga) in the Kosovan league, participating in three different competitions. Hall played 11 games in the Kosovan Superliga, averaging 11.2ppg, 5.8rpg, and 1.5apg, helping his team finish the regular season in second place and reach the league semifinals. He is a very experienced player. His career has taken him to three different continents, where he played in five different countries. Hall has experienced life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, and North America. He has played professionally in France, Kosovo, Mexico (Halcones de Ciudad Obregon), Israel (Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion, Hapoel Holon, Maccabi Hod Hasharon, Kiryat Ata, and Hapoel Migdal Haemek), and The Basketball Tournament (Mid-American U.).
Among many awards, Hall's team won the Israeli National League Regular Season in 2023. Hall was also selected as the Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Import Player of the Year during 2023.
He graduated from Kent State in 2017 and will be entering his ninth season as a professional player. Hall also played for Hofstra University for one year.
