Navid Rezaeifar

Palayesh Naft Abadan (Superleague) landed 28-year old international 193cm guard Navid Rezaeifar for new season. It is actually his comeback to Abadan as he has played here before. Rezaeifar played most recently at Shahrdari Gorgan (Superleague). In 30 games he averaged 12.1ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.0apg last season. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Rezaeifar can count that year as a very successful as was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian Superleague Honorable Mention. He also played 16 games in West Asia Super League where he had 10.3ppg, 2.6rpg and 2.1apg. Rezaeifar contributed to his team making it to the group final.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Naft Abadan. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals.
Rezaeifar has been also a member of Iranian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Iranian senior team since 2018 and previously for U16 National Team in 2011.
Rezaeifar represented Iran at the Asian Games in Huangzhou (China) last year. His stats at that event were 6 games: 13.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 4.2apg, FGP: 62.9%, 3PT: 35.5%, FT: 60.0%.
He has played previously for three other teams: Petrochimi, Mahram and Chemidor.
Rezaeifar won Iranian Superleague championship title in 2021.
