UMF Alftanes (Subway League) signed 27-year-old American 196cm guard Ade Murkey (college: Denver) for the upcoming season. He last played for Knox Raiders in Australian NBL One, where he averaged 15.6ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.3apg, and 2.3spg in 9 games. Murkey contributed to their regular season victory and semifinal appearance. Prior to that, he played for Herd in the NBA G League.
He is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Australia, the NBA (Sacramento Kings), the NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Stockton Kings), and the NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings).
Murkey won the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League championship title in Las Vegas in 2021.
He graduated from Denver University in 2020 and it'll be his sixth season in pro basketball.
