LWD Basket Leeuwarden (DBL) signed 27-year-old Australian 208cm forward Tristan Forsyth (college: CBU, agency: Dominion Sports Group) for the upcoming season. He was the top rebounder at Geelong United in the Australian NBL One, where he averaged 21.6ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.0apg, and 1.3spg in 22 games last season. Forsyth previously played for Ammerud Basket Oslo (BLNO) in the Norwegian league.
He has played professionally also in the NBA.
His team reached the Australian NBL Semifinals in 2023.
Forsyth graduated from California Baptist University in 2020 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like College of the Sequoias and Ellsworth Community College.
