Buijs re-signs at Brugge

Avanti Brugge 2015 (Top Division I) confirmed in their roster 23-year old Dutch power forward Pieter Buijs (204cm-2002) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He joins another Dutch player Randell Wiel who is already in the roster. He played there last season. In 13 Top Division I games, he had 4.1ppg, 4.2rpg, and 1.2apg. For the three previous seasons (2021-24), he played at Zeeuw & Zeeuw Feyenoord (DBL) in the Dutch league. He also played 2 games in the Dutch DBL, but he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound. His team made it to the Dutch Cup Semifinals.
He has played previously for the Dutch team Orange Lions.
