Zamora Enamora (Primera FEB) has agreed terms with experienced 34-year-old Dutch ex-international forward Joey van Zegeren (208cm-105kg-1990, college: Northwestern). He will continue to stay in Spain where he most recently played at Fuenlabrada. In 33 Primera FEB games in Spain, he averaged 6.9ppg and 3.2rpg during the 2023-24 season. In the previous (2022-23) season, he played for another Spanish team, Longevida San Pablo Burgos (formerly known as Burgos SP). He was a member of the Dutch Senior National Team between 2020 and 2021.
Van Zegeren is a quite experienced player. He has played professionally in Belgium (Leuven Bears), Germany (Gladiators), Lithuania, and Spain (Valladolid, Alicante, Castello, and Oviedo).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Honorable Mention in 2021.
Van Zegeren graduated from Northwestern University in 2016 and it'll be his tenth season as a pro player. He played for Virginia Tech University for 4 years.
