Vienna sign a second import player

Souley Boum

BC Vienna (BSL) signed 26-year-old American (who also has a Guinean passport) 190cm guard Souley Boum (college: Xavier) for the upcoming season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, with Slovenian Gregor Glas having signed earlier. Boum was the top scorer at Limoges CSP Elite in the French Betclic ELITE ProA, averaging 10.0ppg, 2.0rpg, and 2.5apg in 21 games last season. He also played for MKS (OBL) in the Polish league.
He has played professionally in Poland and the NBA G League (Grand Rapids Gold) as well.
Boum played in the final of Big East Tournament in 2023, among many awards. He was voted to WCC All-Freshman Team back in 2018.
He graduated from Xavier University in 2023 and it'll be his third season in pro basketball. Boum played for other colleges like The University of Texas at El Paso and the University of San Francisco.
