MKE Ankaragucu Basketbol (TBL) signed 36-year-old Georgian-American point guard Jacob Pullen, who stands at 183cm tall. Pullen, who played college basketball at Kansas State and is represented by AltusBasket, previously played for Dinamo BDS Sassari in the Italian Serie A. In 9 games, he averaged 9.8ppg and 2.1apg. Pullen also participated in 5 games in the FIBA Europe Cup, where he recorded 13.4ppg, 3.6apg, and 2.0spg.
During part of last season, he spent time playing for another Italian team, Tezenis Scaligera Verona (Serie A). He also played briefly for another Italian team, Gevi Napoli Basket (Serie A).
Pullen attempted to reach the NBA and participated in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
He is a very experienced player. Pullen has traveled quite extensively as his pro career took him to fourteen different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). He has played professionally in China (Flying Leopards), Croatia (Cedevita), Iran (Mahram), Israel (Hapoel Jerusalem), Kuwait (Kuwait), Montenegro (Mornar), Russia (Khimki), Slovenia (Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana), Spain (FC Barcelona), NBA (Philadelphia 76ers), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats), Turkey (Afyon), and The Basketball Tournament (Purple & Black and Purple Reign).
Among many awards, his team won the Italian Cup in 2024. Pullen was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Adriatic League Honorable Mention back in 2021. He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Ankaragucu.
He graduated from Kansas State in 2011 and is currently in his 15th season in pro basketball.
