Bourg inks Tyson Walker, ex Melbourne Utd

JL Bourg en Bresse signed Tyson Walker for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He played last season at Melbourne Utd in the Australian NBL league, where he averaged 14.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 4.4apg, and 1.7spg in 34 games. He was named League Player of the Week during that season. In the previous 2024-25 season, he played at Legends in the NBA G League.
Two years ago, he was drafted by the Texas Legends (G-League) in the first round (7th overall).
He graduated from Michigan State in 2024 and is currently in his third season in pro basketball.
Among many awards, his team was the regular season runner-up in the Big Ten in 2023. Walker was also voted the All-CAA Defensive Player of the Year back in 2021 during his college time. He played for Northeastern University for 2 years.
