Defending champion Filou Oostende (PBL) signed 26-year-old Finnish international 197cm guard Andre Gustavson (Richmond, Octagon Europe). He began the season with Karhubasket in Finnish Korisliiga, averaging 14.7ppg, 5.3rpg, and 1.0spg in three games.
He has also been a member of the Finnish international program for some years. Gustavson has regularly played for the Finnish senior team since 2024 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2018.
He also represented Finland at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Valencia (Spain) last year. During this event, he scored an average of 6.7 ppg and had 1 rpg.
Gustavson graduated from the University of Richmond in 2023 and it's his third season in pro basketball. He played in the final of the Finnish League in 2025. Gustavson was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Finnish League All-Domestic Players Team in 2025.
