Lapuan Kobrat (Korisliiga) signed 28-year old American forward Bobby Planutis (203cm-93kg-1997, college: PFW, agency: One Motive Sports). He already started the season at Korihait. In 11 Korisliiga games in Finland he had 11.6ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1spg. Last season he played at Cheshire Phoenix (SLB) in British league. He also played for Lakers in NBA G League.
Last year, a year after his graduation, he was drafted by the Texas Legends (G-League) in the second round (40th overall).
Planutis graduated from Purdue University Fort Wayne in 2023 and is currently in his third season in pro basketball.
He has played professionally in Croatia (Kvarner), Romania (Galati), and the United Kingdom.
Planutis' team made it to the Horizon League Tournament Semifinals in 2022. Planutis played for other colleges like St. Bonaventure University and Mount Saint Mary's University.
