KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet Beograd (KLS) confirmed in their roster 29-year old Nigerian center Ebuka Izundu (208cm-107kg-1996, college: Miami, FL). He played there last season. In 31 Euroleague games he recorded 7.9ppg and 4.1rpg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. He also played 16 games in ABA League where he averaged 9.0ppg and 4.3rpg. His team won Serbian Cup in 2026.
During the previous (2024-25) season, he played for Galatasaray in the Turkish league.
Izundu is a very experienced player, having played professionally in France (SIG Strasbourg), Germany (EWE Baskets), Spain (Real Betis), and Turkey.
Among many awards, he was voted Eurobasket.com Basketball Champions League Center of the Year in 2025.
Izundu graduated from the University of Miami in 2019, and this will be his eighth season as a professional player. His team won the Serbian Cup in 2026.
