Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul (BSL) released 33-year old Turkish-American ex-international guard Scottie Wilbekin (188cm-80kg-1993, college: Florida). He has played there for the last four years. He helped them to win the cup. Wilbekin played 6 games in Euroleague where he had 7.7ppg and 1.3apg this season.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016. Wilbekin was a member of Turkish Senior National Team between 2018 and 2022.
He is quite experienced player. Wilbekin has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). He has played professionally also in Australia (Taipans), Greece (AEK BC Athens), Israel (Maccabi Tel Aviv) and NBA (Philadelphia 76ers).
Among many awards he won Turkish League championship title in 2024. Wilbekin was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Honorable Mention in 2024.
He graduated from University of Florida in 2014 and it is his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
