KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet Beograd (KLS) is close to signing 22-year-old Serbian shooting guard Nikola Djurisic (203cm-2004) who currently plays for Atlanta Hawks in NBA. He also played for Skyhawks in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 21 games he had 9.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.7apg, and 1.0bpg this season. The other team he briefly played for was the Hawks in NBA.
Two years ago, he was drafted by the Miami Heat (NBA) in the second round (43rd overall).
He was also a member of the Serbian international program for some years. He played for Serbian Senior National Team between 2022 and 2024 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2021.
Djurisic also represented Serbia at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers three years ago. Djurisic's team got to the Semifinals and he averaged over 3 points per game.
He has played previously for three other Serbia teams: OKK Beograd, BC Mega MIS Beograd, and Mega Super.
Among many awards, his team made it to the Serbian League Semifinals in 2024. Djurisic was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Honorable Mention in 2024.
