Will Cherry

JL Bourg en Bresse signed 34-year-old American point guard Will Cherry, who played for Gladiadores in the Venezuelan SPB league last season. He also played for Cocodrilos de Caracas in 14 games, averaging 12.8ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.8apg, and 1.6spg. He was named League Player of the Week during his time with Cocodrilos de Caracas.
Cherry is a highly experienced player, having played in fourteen different countries on five continents. He has played professionally in Croatia (Cedevita), Germany (ALBA Berlin, EnBW Ludwigsburg, and Skyliners), Greece (Olympiacos), Iran (Gorgan), Israel (Hapoel Eilat), Italy (Reggio Emilia), Lithuania (Zalgiris), Turkey (Gaziantep), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers, GS Warriors, and Toronto Raptors), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors), Egypt (Al Ittihad Alexandria), NBA Summer League (Detroit Pistons), and The Basketball Tournament (GCG, Gutter Cats, and Team Diesel). Cherry played in the final of the Egyptian League in 2025.
In 2024, he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian League Honorable Mention among many awards.
Cherry graduated from the University of Montana in 2013 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season as a professional player.
