Kostas Antetokounmpo

Aris Betsson Thessaloniki (GBL) landed 27-year old international 208cm center Kostas Antetokounmpo (college: Dayton) on loan from Olympiaco. He started the season at Olympiacos (GBL). In 10 games he averaged just 2.5ppg and 2.0rpg. He also played 4 games in Euroleague where he had only 1.5ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.0apg.
Part of last season he spent at UCAM (Liga Endesa) in Spanish league. The other team he played shortly was Panathinaikos Aktor Athens.
In 2018 he was drafted by Philadelphia 76ers (NBA) in second round (60th overall). The former University of Dayton standout is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
Antetokounmpo has been also a member of the Greek international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Greek senior team since 2021 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2017.
Antetokounmpo also represented Greece at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Piraeus (Greece) two years ago. Antetokounmpo's team won Gold and he had 3 points per game.
He is a very experienced player. Antetokounmpo has played also professionally in France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket), Spain, Turkey (Fenerbahce), NBA (Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, LA Lakers and Toronto Raptors), NBA G League (South Bay Lakers and Windy City Bulls) and NBA Summer League (Dallas Mavericks).
Among many awards he won Greek League championship title in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Greek GBL All-Domestic Players Team in 2024.
