Club Joventut Badalona (Liga Endesa) strengthened their roster with the addition of 25-year-old Estonian international 205cm shooting guard Henri Drell for the 2025-26 season. He played most recently at La Laguna Tenerife in the Spanish Liga Endesa. In 12 games, he recorded 4.0ppg and 1.5rpg last season, helping them reach the semifinals. Drell also played 3 games in the Basketball Champions League, averaging 8.0ppg, 5.7rpg, and 1.0apg. He also briefly played for Remix in the NBA G League.
He has also been a member of the Estonian international program for some years. Drell has regularly played for the Estonian senior team since 2019 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2018.
He also represented Estonia at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and he averaged over 7 ppg.
Drell is a very experienced player. He has played also in France (Chorale de Roanne), Germany (Bamberg, Breitenguessbach, Young Pikes, Regnitztal and Brose Bamberg / Troester Breitenguessb. U19 Team), Italy (Pesaro), NBA (Chicago Bulls and Portland Trail Blazers), Estonia (G4S Noorteliiga 2nd team and G4S Noorteliiga), NBA G League (Windy City Bulls) and NBA Summer League (Chicago Bulls).
He received the Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Pro A Honorable Mention award in 2019.
