Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB (Liga Endesa) has agreed terms with 26-year-old Estonian international small forward Sander Raieste (201cm-92kg-1999) for the new 2025-26 season. He has played for the last five years at Baskonia in the Liga Endesa. In 23 games, he had just 2.2ppg and 1.0rpg last season. He also played 14 games in Euroleague, where he recorded only 2.6ppg. The other team he played for briefly was another Spanish team, Grupo Eleyco Baskonia 2nd team (Segunda FEB).
Raieste has been a member of the Estonian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Estonian senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2017.
Raieste also represented Estonia at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. Raieste's team won Gold and he had over 7 points per game.
He has also played for other Estonian teams such as Kalev/Cramo and G4S Noorteliiga.
His team finished as the runner-up in the regular season of the Spanish League in 2023.
