Liga Basquet Pro 2024 - Guerreros lands Richard Granberry, ex Argentino

Guerreros Neaume Marco Cepeda (Liga Basquet Pro) tabbed 30-year old American 203cm forward Richard Granberry (college: Virginia State). Granberry played most recently at Argentino in Argentinian La Liga. In 36 games he averaged 13.4ppg and 6.7rpg last season. Good year as he was voted League Player of the Week.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on four different continents. Granberry is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally also in Brazil (Fortaleza), Denmark (Svendborg and Vaerlose), Mexico (Halcones de Ciudad Obregon) and United Arab Emirates (Al Wahda). His team made it to the CIAA Tournament Semifinals in 2017 and 2018.
Among many awards he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Danish Ligaen Honorable Mention back in 2019.
Granberry graduated from Virginia State in 2018 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: Neosho County Community College, College of Central Florida.
