Keravnos Strovolou (ECOMMBX BL) has added 31-year-old American guard Tony Hicks (189cm-84kg-1994, college: Louisville) to their roster. He began the season at Atomeromu in the Hungarian A Division, where he put up impressive stats in 16 games: 15.8ppg, 3.7rpg, and 6.7apg. Hicks was named League Player of the Week twice. Last season, he played for Patrioti Levice (Tipos SBL) in the Slovakian league, and he also had a stint with CSM Steaua Bucuresti (Liga Nationala) in the Romanian league.
He is quite an experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in seven different countries. Hicks tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, and of course North America. He has played professionally in Germany (SparkassenStars and Seawolves), Romania, Slovakia, United Kingdom (Scorchers), Venezuela (Gigantes), and Czech Republic (Usti n/Labem).
Hicks graduated from the University of Louisville in 2017 and is currently in his ninth season as a professional player. He also played for the University of Pennsylvania for three years.
