China  Shanghai Lost at G4
On June 2, Beijing time, the Guangsha men's basketball team defeated Shanghai 101-93 at home in the fourth game of the CBA Finals, leveling the series at 1-3 and keeping the championship悬念 alive. Starting forward Hu Jinqiu played 35 minutes, shooting 13-of-16 from the field for a career-high 30 points, emerging as the key player behind the victory and showcasing his resilience to fans.

Facing a must-win situation, Guangsha launched an aggressive offensive attack right from the start, with Hu Jinqiu's pick-and-roll plays alongside teammates proving crucial in breaking through Shanghai's defense. Just one minute into the game, Hu received a pass near the three-point line, drove hard to the basket, and finished with a powerful dunk, igniting his personal scoring spree. In the next possession, he set a screen for Tucker, quickly repositioned himself, faked out Wang ZheLin, and calmly scored inside. On defense, Hu blocked a shot by Wang ZheLin, demonstrating his impact on both ends of the floor.

Buoyed by this strong start, Hu gained confidence early in the first quarter. He hit a three-pointer, then dribbled from the corner into the paint, spun past Li Hongquan, and finished with a layup that drew a foulcompleting a "two-plus-one" playand reached double digits in just half a quarter. Guangsha maintained their offensive momentum throughout, and Hu capitalized on his quickness and mobility, scoring via floaters and follow-up layups. He went 6-for-6 in the quarter, scoring 14 points, helping Guangsha end the period leading 28-18.

In the second quarter, Shanghai responded with a 9-2 run to close the gap. After returning to the court, Hu immediately followed up with a putback, but Fogg led a surge that gave Shanghai the lead. At critical moments, Hu demonstrated his leadership: he powered through a defender to score under the basket, grabbed an offensive rebound and converted it into another basket, and then stole the ball from Li Hongquan, drove hard to the rim, drew a foul, and sank both free throws. In just 18 minutes, he shot 9-of-10 for 22 points, helping Guangsha tie the game at halftime, 49-49. Despite not having fully recovered from a knee injury, Hu poured everything he had into the game.

In the third quarter, Hu showed signs of fatigue, but continued to contribute through screens and mid-range jumpers. With Tucker hitting three consecutive three-pointers, Guangsha regained control. Early in the final quarter, Hu scored with a floater near the restricted area, then caught a pass from Brown and finished effortlessly under the basket, forcing a Shanghai timeout. In the decisive stretch, Brown stepped up with clutch three-pointers, giving Guangsha a double-digit lead. With 45 seconds left, Hu received a pass from Lin Bingsheng, drove to the basket, and scored his 30th point, sealing the win. As the home crowd erupted in celebration, Hu exited the court, embracing victory.

While Guangsha may struggle to come back and win the title, Hu Jinqiu declared tonight that they would never give up. As long as the game isn't over, anything is possible.
