Granada adds Alibegovic to their roster, ex Trapani

Coviran Granada (Liga Endesa) added 30-year-old Italian-Bosnia and Herzegovina power forward Amar Alibegovic (206cm-109kg-1995, college: St.John's) to their roster. He started the season at Sportinvest Trapani Sharks in Italian Serie A and has played there for the last three years.
Alibegovic represented Italy at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers three years ago. Alibegovic's team won Gold and he averaged over 2 ppg.
He has also played professionally in Italy (RO Virtus and Virtus Bologna), Slovenia (Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana), and Turkey (Bodrum).
In 2025, Alibegovic's team was the regular season runner-up in the Italian League. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Italian League Honorable Mention in 2025.
He graduated from St. John's University in 2018 and it's his 8th season as a pro player.
