BC Barnaul Altayskiy Kray (Superleague 1) added to their roster 32-year old Belarusian ex-international shooting guard Vitali Liutych (198cm-97kg-1992, agency: Tolakh Tsimur). He played last season at Zlatibor in Serbian KLS league. In 22 games he recorded 7.0ppg and 3.4rpg. He also played 10 games in ABA League where he averaged 8.7ppg and 3.8rpg.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at BC Pari Nizhny Novgorod (VTB United League).
Liutych was also a member of the Belarusian international program for some years. He played for Belarusian Senior National Team between 2012 and 2020 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2012.
Liutych also represented Belarus at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Pre-Qualifiers three years ago. During this event he scored an average of 16 points per game and had 8.5 rebounds per game.
He is quite experienced player. Liutych has played also in Belarus (Vitalyur RGUOR and BC Minsk), Estonia (Kalev/Cramo), Lithuania (Siauliai), Serbia and Russia (Enisey and Samara).
Among many awards he won Estonian League championship title in 2017. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Estonian League All-Imports Team back in 2017.
