Kapfenberg keeps Zotov for another two seasons

HEFTE HELFEN Bulls Kapfenberg (BSL) have re-signed 29-year-old Ukrainian international 188cm point guard Vitaliy Zotov, who is represented by agency BIG. He is the second import player on the team, with USA's Taye Fields having signed earlier. Zotov played for the team last season, averaging 12.2ppg, 3.4rpg, 7.2apg, and 1.9spg in 27 BSL games, helping them reach the cup final. He also played 7 games in the European North Basketball League, where he averaged 14.9ppg, 4.1rpg, 6.1apg, and 1.9spg.
Zotov has also been a member of the Ukrainian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Ukrainian senior team since 2020 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2017.
Zotov also represented Ukraine at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers three years ago. His team won Silver and he averaged over 3 points per game.
He is a very experienced player. Zotov has played also in Latvia (VEF Riga), Lithuania (Jonava), Romania (Craiova) and Ukraine (Mykolaiv, Budivelnyk, Dnipro, Khimik and BC Donetsk).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention in 2024.
