Maddox starts his pro career at Traiskirchen

druck.at Traiskirchen Lions (BSL) agreed terms with American guard Darius Maddox (196cm-82kg). He just graduated from George Mason University (NCAA). In 35 games he had 13.7ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.1apg and 1.1spg last season. He helped them to make it to the Atlantic 10 Tournament final and they also made it to the NIT Sweet 16.
Last year he was drafted by Sioux Falls Skyforce (G-League) in second round (37th overall).
Maddox just came directly from George Mason University and it is his first full season in pro basketball.
He started his college career at Virginia Tech University (NCAA) where he played three seasons.
Maddox was one of the highest ranked players in high school in 202020. Maddox's high school career he had spent at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, VA, which he joined from St. John's College Prep. He was also Atlantic 10 All-Tournament Team in 2025 at his college time.
