The Hawkes Bay Hawks (NBL) signed 32-year-old Australian ex-international 186cm guard Kyle Adnam. He began the season with the Sandringham Sabres in the Australian NBL One. In the two games he played recently, he posted impressive stats: 23.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 1.5apg, and 1.5spg.
He was also a member of the Australian international program for some years. Adnam played for the Australian Senior National Team between 2020 and 2023 and previously for the University National Team during 2017.
He also represented Australia at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers three years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 12.5 points per game and had 2.5 rebounds per game.
Adnam is a very experienced player. He has traveled between four different countries on three different continents during his pro career (Europe, Australia and of course North America). Adnam has played previously in Australia (Kings, United, Taipans, Cobras and Spartans), Canada (Bandits), Romania (Sibiu) and New Zealand (Giants and Saints).
He won the Australian NBL1 North championship title in 2025. He was voted to the Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Honorable Mention in 2018.
