Azovmash Mariupol signed 27-year old USA ex-international point guard Derrick Low (188-PG-86, college: Washington St.). The player will remain in Ukraine but with another team.
Last season he played for Dnipro Dnepropetrovsk. In 39 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 6.9apg and 1.6spg. Hoverla is close to landing one of the top performers of the Ukrainian Higher League. Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-C-86) has reportedly agreed on terms of contract with Hoverla. The centre averaged impressive 16.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game in the Higher League last season.
