Olafur Torfason(194-F-87) has decided to sign with newly relegated Fjolnir for next season. Olafur, who has played with Snaefell for the past two seasons will provide some help under the basket for Fjolnir in the 1st division. He averaged 4.9ppg and 4.2apg in 15 minutes of play in the Dominos league.Fjolnir lost Jon Sverrison to injuries in January and were looking for someone to bolster the paint and have found an experienced player in Olafur.

KR Reykjavik (Dominos League) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old American guard Shannon McCallum (177-87, college: Charlotte). She played last season at Riva Basket in Swiss LNA league. In 30 games last year she recorded very impressive stats: 24.3ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.3apg, 3.8spg and 1.4bpg. Valur Reykjavik (Dominos League) signed 26-year old American guard Jaleesa Butler (185-87, college: Georgetown). Butler managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). She played last summer at St.Louis Surge (WBCBL) in the U.S.. She helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
