26-year old power forward Dwight Burke (202-C/F-86, college: Marquette) has moved on from BK 04 AC LB Spisska Nova Ves to Lithuania where he will suit up for BC Siauliai. In the midst of a career best season, the 6-8 Burke appeared in 26 games for Nova Ves, averaging career highs in points (16.8), rebounds (8.3), assists (1.4) and steals (1.5).

58-year-old businessman from Vilnius (Lithuania) Vytenis Urba became President of the Baltic Women's Basketball League. Former basketball player replaced politician Kazimira Prunskiene, who suffered a stroke in February 2012.

Barsy Atyrau (D1) tabbed 23-year old American swingman Chris McEachin (198-89). He just graduated from Norfolk State University (NCAA). In 36 games last season he averaged 12.8ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.2apg and 1.3spg. He helped them to win MEAC Tournament. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to All-MEAC 2nd Team and NABC Division I All-District 15 2nd Team.
